Made of ONP (old newsprint) and OCC (old corrugated containers).  This product is brown/gray in color and tends to be “fluffier and softer” than Virgin and Recycled Kraft paper.  Bogus is an economical dunnage paper and is typically a little cheaper than Kraft paper and slightly higher than Newsprint.

Bogus is commonly used as void fill, interleaving, dunnage, and for wrapping industrial tools, auto parts, clocks and appliances.  Bogus is also used as a floor covering, barrel liner and as a tile and brick separator.  It is also used in the poultry, tobacco and pharmaceutical industries.
